The need for a unified solution that a company can use to maximize productivity through the IT service organization is evident when small- and medium- sized businesses (SMB) identify what type of role they ultimately envision for their IT service organization.

In general, the SMB market comprises two types of IT service organizations:

  2. Mid-sized enterprises (100-999 users) that provide the majority of IT services through internal resources.
