A Central Service Desk For The Australian Taxation Office

The Australian Taxation Office is to establish a central service desk to support IT and communications operations as part of an agency-wide Service Improvement Program.

The agency has called for expressions of interest (EOI) from service providers to design and implement a service desk based on ITIL (IT Infrastructure Library) methodologies to support its Australia-wide technology operations.

The ATO expects request volume for the service desk to reach about 10,000 per month.
