itSMF In Singapore

The IT Service Management Forum (itSMF) has recently opened its Singapore chapter to develop and promote best practices in IT service management.

With this event, the total number of itSMF chapters has now reached 27, including four in Asia-Pacific. The other three countries in Asia-Pacific with similar chapters are Australia, Korea and Japan.

Prominent members of the organization include IBM, HP, NCS, Kata Systems and Touchpaper Software, and several independent consultants. itSMF informs that it plays a key role in the ongoing development of BS 15000, the standard for IT Service Management, and is pushing for more IT service providers and internal IT organizations to be BS 15000-certified.
