itSMF International Gets New Board

Following itSMFI's annual meeting and chapter meeting last week in The Netherlands, the chairman of the executive board of itSMFI, Brian Jennings, announced that the full board of the organization, comprising the chapters, confirmed the appointment of the new directors as of January 2008.

They are:

Sharon Taylor

Alexander Kist

Colin Rudd

Paul Martini

Peter Brooks

Robert Stroud

The new Executive Board will take up office on January 1, 2008 for two years and has already unanimously agreed that Sharon Taylor will be its new chairperson moving forward.

The executive's board's next immediate task is to seek nominations for a seventh director as requested at the AGM, from chapters and it will begin this process following the UK conference in Brighton.

Keith Aldis the organization’s company secretary and CEO will be writing to chapter representatives on this shortly seeking further nominations to the executive board. It is expected that this additional person will also take up post from January 2008.

The executive board will then be up to full strength and then will elect a vice chairman and treasurer and assign portfolios to the directors.
