By ITSM Watch Staff Dec 1, 2006 MRO Software, an IBM Company that provides asset and service management solutions, today announced the launch of a comprehensive Web resource for all matters relating to the topic of IT Service Management. The new ITSM Resource Center site brings together a variety of independent and company-authored content to give visitors rich research, discussion and educational tools and information. The site combines searchable static content like white papers, articles, analyst reports, brochures and helpful web links with interactive content such as discussion forums, surveys, Webcasts, RSS feeds and blogs. For example, one particularly helpful feature is an interactive assessment tool that enables users to compare their ITSM deployments against a variety of “best practices blueprints.” With this tool users can see how their service organization stacks up against the best in the business in the delivery of high-quality service. The ITSM Resource Center provides educational resources on a wide range of ITSM business issues such as regulatory compliance, risk management, ITIL and ISO 20000, IT asset management and service level agreements. In the near future an EAM Resource Center will be added to provide a wide range of content and interactive features on enterprise asset management and the convergence of IT and OT. This will include industry-specific resource sections for users in energy, manufacturing, government, healthcare and other organizations, as well as foreign language versions of the Center’s content. |
